Ohio State football has consistently developed some of the best offensive linemen in the country. From Paris Johnson Jr. to even Billy Price from years ago, the Buckeyes have had some of the top talent in the trenches.
That is no different this year as center Seth McLaughlin continues to shine as one of the nation’s best.
Pro Football Focus looked at the best centers from this past week in college football, and McLaughlin sat No. 1 with a 78.6 grade.

The 6-foot-4 center is a transfer and came from Alabama.
McLaughlin, who has a master’s degree along with having been Summa Cum Laude during his undergrad at Alabama, is in his first season with the Buckeyes, entering the portal after the 2023 season.
He spent numerous seasons with the Crimson Tide and played 35 games for Alabama. Now, McLaughlin is poised to hopefully be on another team contending for a College Football Playoffs National Championship come January.
With Oregon on deck, the Buckeyes will need another big-time performance from the center Saturday.
