TheOhio State Baseball team is really starting to hit their stride. Since losing to California on March 4, the Buckeyes have reeled off wins over Oklahoma, three over Cal State Bakersfield, Marshall and two against Dayton.
The win today over the Flyers, 12-8, the seventh in a row, puts the Buckeyes’ season record at 11-6 in Bill Mosiello’s first season as the head coach.
Buy Buckeyes TicketsAlthough OSU has yet to play a conference game, it’ll have two more games on the state until Ohio State faces Indiana next weekend. So far, the Buckeyes have shown they can win a game in multiple ways.
Today it was the bats, as they needed every one of those twelve runs, to get the victory. Outfielder Trey Lipsey led the charge, going 3-of-5 with 6 RBI and three runs scored. The biggest hit was this blast with the game still tight in the bottom of the seventh.
