'Oh Lionel...' Coronation Concert viewers confused by Lionel Richie's 'unrecognisable' voice

Lionel Richie confused viewers with his 'unrecognisable' voice as he took to the stage for the Coronation Concert. The 73-year-old singing superstar was one of the big names performing for the newly crowned King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Windsor Castle.

As he sang his classics Easy and All Night Long many viewers thought he didn't sound like himself. Fans flocked to Twitter to have their say.

@Jess_in_Devon gasped: "Oh Lionel." @JacquiDarling also sighed: "Oh Lionel…." And a shocked @rossjmorgan tweeted: "The Lionel Richie impersonator is OK......oh, it's actually Lionel Richie. Errrrrrr awkward." @DarrenEmoji said: "Oh Lionel love." And @Berryliz8 exclaimed: "Oh Lionel Richie….. no, no, no."

@lcyHlcCuP puzzled: "Doesn't even sound like him. Thought it was a impersonator." And @matthewhowe69 asked: "Who is this Lionel Richie impersonator?"
