Oh Hyeon-gyu insists Scottish football is not by any means 'easy' and that he is growing majorly at Celtic.
The South Korean attacker issued a strong defence for Parkhead pals Reo Hatate and Kyogo Furuhashi who were both unceremoniously dumped by Japan boss Hajime Moriyasu for international duty while Daizen Maeda made the cut. It was the same heartbreaking story when the Qatar World Cup announcement came around with the Samuari Blue gaffer claiming it was due to the 'level of the league'.
Kyogo has had his best season so far under Ange Postecoglou with 25-plus goals while Hatate is considered by many to be one of, if not the, best players in the Scottish Premiership. And new boy Oh who has hit the ground running in Glasgow after his move from Korean believes there is no issue over the standard he has faced in his experience so far.

He said when asked if Scottish football was easy for a striker: “It is the opposite. Premiership defenders have excellent physique and strength.
“I am getting stronger competing with them.
“All teams come out with 120 per cent power when playing Celtic, rather than when playing the other teams. We also prepare more to overcome them. In this process, I’m also growing.”
