CHANDIGARH: Taking cognizance of the reports in which a warrant officer appointed by the Punjab and Haryana high court had accused CIA staff of Panipat police of misbehaviour, the police department has transferred the CIA incharge concerned and other cops out of Panipat and also ordered departmental inquiry against them.
A formal information in this regard was provided by Haryana DGP P K Agrawal through an affidavit to the high court. The DGP has also made it clear that the police officials concerned shall remain posted in police line Karnal till the pendency of the departmental proceedings.
