RANCHI: Residents could hardly catch a wink on Wednesday night as the power supply played hide and seek in the state capital, which continued till Thursday afternoon.
Areas like Morhabadi, Harmu, Lalpur, Booty More, and Ashok Nagar experienced power cuts. The stretch between Ranchi Nursing Home on Bariatu Road and Badgain Chowk were in total darkness. However, the officials blamed the outages on poor infrastructure besides the shortage in power supply to the city from the JBVNL.
