An officer was injured in a "collision" between a police vehicle and a car.
On Saturday (January 28) police were called to reports of a collision between a marked police vehicle and a grey Vauxhall Insignia. The driver of the police vehicle was injured in the crash, though declined medical treatment.
The driver of the other car did not receive any injuries as a result of the crash, which took place at around 6.40pm on Whitby Road, Ellesmere Port.

A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "Officers were called at around 6.40pm on Saturday 28 January to Whitby Road, Ellesmere Port following reports of a collision involving a marked police vehicle and a grey Vauxhall Insignia.
"The driver of the marked police vehicle sustained minor injuries but declined medical treatment. There were no other injuries."
