Office design firm Paramount investing in new Bristol office as it targets £50m revenues

Cardiff-based office interior design and fitout firm Paramount is opening a new office in Bristol as it targets hitting revenues of £50m within three years.

Its new office on Welsh Back, alongside Bristol’s floating harbour, is currently being fitted out and is scheduled to opening in July.

The investment will create 20 new jobs at the firm whose annual turnover currently stands at £33.5m.

Bristol-based Bafta-nominated natural history film-making company, Offspring Films, will also call the Welsh Back building its new home following a fit-out by Paramount.

The new West of England office represents the latest chapter of expansion for Paramount that was acquired in management buyout in 2018 led by its managing director, Richard Jones.

Mr Jones said:“The opening of the Bristol office is a real statement of intent by Paramount.

“As we embark on the next phase of our journey, I am confident our Bristol team will play a key role in making sure Paramount turnover surpasses the £50m-mark within the next three years.

“Paramount has developed an enviable reputation across the UK for creating innovative workspaces that transform businesses, and I know our Bristol team will ensure we fulfil our vast potential.”

Paramount sales director Kevin Mashford, who will lead the Bristol team, said: “We are really excited to be opening an office in the heart of Bristol and we look forward to ensuring Paramount keeps going from strength to strength.”

Paramount is currently on site at 360 Bristol - formerly known as South Plaza - which is the largest refurbishment currently ongoing in the city and a 25,000 sq ft refurbishment for Salaft Property at The Cube.

Paramount has fitted out the dressing rooms at the Principality Stadium and is currently delivering bar restaurant and mini-golf concept, Par 59 in Cardiff - a project joint owned by Wales footballer Gareth Bale.

Other large-scale design and fit-out projects include the Office for National Statistics HQ in Newport and the redevelopment of Hodge House and the Development Bank of Wales’ Capital Quarter offices, both in Cardiff.
