A Wetherspoon pub that was put up for sale by the chain last year could soon be changing hands. It has been revealed that the The Widow Frost, in Mansfield, is under offer.
The pub, in Leeming Street, was put on the market with Savills for £350,000 last September. The price was later dropped to offers in the region of £300,000.
The Widow Frost, named after the 18th-century landlady of The Mason's Arms which once stood on the site, was named as one of 32 pubs at the time being sold off across the country, after the company suffered £30m losses due to the pandemic and lockdown restrictions.

Wetherspoon spokesman Eddie Gershon said: "The Widow Frost, Mansfield, is under offer but continues to operate as a Wetherspoon."
The potential buyer has not been identified. Earlier this year, in March, Wetherspoon announced it would be closing the Sir John Ardene in Newark.
The company said 22 pubs remain up for sale after offloading 28 already so far this year as part of an overhaul of its estate.
