Liverpool have been sent an “incredible” message about a player linked with a move to Anfield.
The Reds have been credited with an interest in Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko in recent days. Reports have suggested that Liverpool could make a move for the 17-year-old in the coming months.
Moukoko’s current deal is set to expire at the end of the season, and contract talks with Dortmund have reportedly stalled. It has been claimed that Liverpool lead the race and appear to be 'best positioned' to sign him.

Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with a move for Moukoko. The teenager has scored four goals and provided five assists in his 16 appearances so far this season.
Speaking ahead of Dortmund’s Champions League clash against Manchester City on Tuesday night, Owen Hargeaves spoke very highly about Moukoko. The former Man United star explained how Moukoko is likely to attract plenty of interest from Premier League clubs.
“He’s producing the goods, a bit like Jude, Jude’s only 19, Moukoko’s amazing, only 17,” Hargreaves told BT Sport.
“The numbers throughout the youth ranks have been off the charts, he’s always played two, three years ahead, he’s always producing numbers, can he do it in men’s football?
“And he’s been doing it. I think we’ll see a great athlete and one of those players I’m sure all the Premier League teams will be looking at. To be producing at this level at 17 is incredible.”
Manchester City star Erling Haaland was at Dortmund when Moukoko made his bow as a 16-year-old. The City striker has already delivered an eye-catching verdict on the attacker.
Haaland said previously: "I'm really happy for Youssoufa. I'd really like to play with him sometime. I think he's one of the biggest talents in the world right now. He's only 16 years and one day old, and he's playing fantastically. He has a great career ahead of him."
"[Youssoufa] is very powerful and skillful," Haaland also said in 2021. "He is already at one of the top clubs for improving his game. The club gives you a chance to play. It does not matter what age you are."
