Football pitches were wrecked in a Swansea community by off-road bikers, forcing police to step in and take action.
Three section 59 warnings were issued to four off-road vehicles which tore up Ashland playing fields in Port Tennant at the weekend.
Under the Police Reform Act 2002, section 59 warnings allow police to stop inappropriate use of vehicles that annoy the public or place people at risk. It also warns the offending driver that if they drive or ride in the same way during the next year, the vehicle they are using may be seized.
