Odisha: NISER student kills self after battling depression

BHUBANESWAR Chhattisgarh

BHUBANESWAR: A prolonged battle with depression over the confusion to choose between science and spirituality allegedly drove a PhD student from the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) here to take her life. The 27-year-old scholar, Pooja Jethwani, belonged to Chhattisgarh.

Police found her body lying in a pool of blood on the NISER campus on Monday morning.
