Odisha: BJD set to sweep municipal polls

BHUBANESWAR: The early trends of counting of votes on Saturday shows the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is heading for a landslide victory in the municipal elections held on March 24, repeating its feat in rural polls held last month.

The ruling party’s mayor candidates were leading in all three cities of Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Berhampur.
