For the first time in Kerala’s cricketing history, the state will host matches of six top international teams in just five days at the Greenfield stadium, Thiruvananthapuram.
Though billed as the warm-up matches of the upcoming ODI World Cup, there will be no let-up in intensity as it gives the team management the final opportunity to analyse the form of players, try out different combinations and adapt to the conditions in India. The warm-up matches don't have the official status of an ODI and give the teams the luxury of fielding all 15 players in the squad in the game.
