Odeon cinema customers race to bulk buy amid major ticket deal

The weather in the UK has been a bit mixed recently with a heatwave having just passed.

With temperatures now much cooler than they were a few weeks ago, many of us will be wanting to stay indoor to keep warm.

And with kids off for the summer holidays, it can be hard to keep them entertained.

Because of this, the cinema can be the perfect place to take the whole family too - especially if you have a movie in mind. If this seems like something you would enjoy, you may be in luck as Odeon are now on Groupon.

Taking to Facebook's Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group an individual shared with the groups two million members what they had found. In their caption they wrote: "Check out Groupon. Odeon are doing two tickets for £10.00 or 5 for £22.00, valid until October."

The deal is being hailed by many. (Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.)

As part of the money saving deal, there are four deals however consumers are warned that they are not valid at their Luxe chains unless stated otherwise. The deals on offer at the moment are as follows:

  • Two ODEON cinema tickets - £10
  • Five ODEON cinema tickets - £22

  • Two ODEON Luxe cinema tickets - £14

  • Five ODEON Luxe cinema tickets - £30

Taking to the comments of the post one said: "Great deal, brought 5 tickets for £22, used them at Odeon yesterday, to see the new minion film, staff know about them, scanned straight away on my phone, would have cost £56.75 for 3 adults and 2 children, already brought another 5 tickets on Groupon today as they are valid till October."

Another added: "Brought the vouchers and used yesterday. Brought 5 for £22. Had a 5 percent off coupon. So ended up being just over £20. You book online. I booked all 5 yesterday to watch minions. Had to pay an extra 0.95 per ticket online booking fee. So £4.75 on top. But still much cheaper than what it would have cost me".

"It’s real easy. Buy the codes. I just view each voucher screenshot the codes. Then copy and paste the code on when booking," added another group member.

"Always buy these works out so much cheaper. Taking my daughter on Saturday and then taking both my daughters in a couple of week" wrote a third.
