Odell Beckham Jr free agency twist as LA Rams head coach Sean McVay offers intriguing hint

Odell Beckham Jr's free agency has taken another twist as the Los Angeles Rams have admitted that they are still very interested in bringing him back after the superstar wide receiver impressed with the team last season.

The 29-year-old had a rough time since leaving the New York Giants, failing to play his best football with the Cleveland Browns before being released.

However, after finding himself as a free agent, Beckham Jr signed with the LA Rams and would score seven touchdowns in 11 starts as he starred in a Super Bowl victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. In that game, though, he would tear his ACL - ruling him out for the game and the subsequent off-season.

Eight months on, Beckham Jr is said to be close to full fitness, and is being linked with a host of teams ahead of his return.

The Green Bay Packers, Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens are all said to be highly interested, whilst the Rams have not ruled out a return. And now, Rams head coach Sean McVay has stated that the Rams have yet to make their final offer to the wide receiver and that they remain in talks with him.

McVay said: "I love Odell. We have constant dialogue. I think he also knows that certainly I don't think that's the last (offer) that will come from us. I'm not familiar with exactly what it is, he knows how we feel about him. We've got a little bit of time. Love Odell, nothing but good things coming from me."

This comes after Beckham's controversial comments seemingly ruled him out of a move back to the Rams. He tweeted: "LA knows where I wanted to be.... but they didn't offer me... ANYthing! So idk what people want me to do, I def kno my worth and what the offer was isn't reflective of that. So it's tough to say that I can come on back even I thought I finally found that home!".

However, the superstar is reportedly in no rush to make a decision, with reports suggesting he could wait until Thanksgiving to sign with a team, as he prepares to join a team looking to make a Super Bowl run.

Bills edge rusher and former Rams teammate Von Miller has spoken openly on wanting them to reunite in upstate New York, with Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers also admitting he's a big fan of Beckham's.
