Odell Beckham Jr is expected to join the Dallas Cowboys when he returns to the NFL, according to reports.
The 30-year-old superstar remains a free agent after missing the season so far whilst rehabbing his knee injury sustained in the Super Bowl. Beckham Jr ruptured his ACL in his Los Angeles Rams victory, winning his first ever Super Bowl, just moments after scoring the game's first touchdown.
Beckham showed last season that he's more than capable of playing at an elite level, after not looking the same player when with the Cleveland Browns.
It remains to be seen how healthy and if he'll remain the same player coming off the back of knee surgery, but the wide receiver could be a huge addition to the Cowboys, should he sign there.
The Buffalo Bills had initially been the favourites to sign Beckham, but it became apparent that the Cowboys and his former team the New York Giants would be the frontrunners. But it now appears to be Dallas' signing to lose.
One team executive linked to Odell Beckham Jr told ESPN's Adam Schefter: “It sounds like it will be Dallas. If you’re in Vegas, your 2-1 favourite is the Cowboys and everyone else is 5- or 6-1.”
The Cowboys are looking likely to make a deep Super Bowl run, after defeating the impressive Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants in recent weeks, whilst having a potent offence and one of the league's best defences.
Dallas has been looking to add a wide receiver after they traded away former number one option in Amari Cooper, who was sent to the Browns for very little draft capital.
Third-year pro CeeDee Lamb has made the step up to that role, but Beckham could be an exceptional complimentary piece to the offense in Dallas - like he had been last year with the Rams alongside Matt Stafford and Cooper Kupp.
Beckham Jr is said to be looking for a long-term contract, though, which may not be viable for Dallas who have limited cap spaces and must save room to pay their superstar defensive players in Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs - the latter being available to discuss a new deal next summer whilst being on his rookie contract.
