The Atletico Madrid and Manchester City bad blood continued into the tunnel in disgraceful scenes on Wednesday night.
Hurt Atleti players saw their dreams of winning the Champions League go up in smoke as they failed to breach a resolute City rearguard across both legs, with it ending goalless on the night at the Wanda Metropolitano while Pep Guardiola's men had secured a 1-0 win in last week's first leg at the Etihad.
The match was marred by an incredible touchline fracas that saw Felipe sent off, while Stefan Savic was seen aiming a headbutt at Raheem Sterling and pulling Jack Grealish's hair.
Now images from what appears to be French TV have shown how the bad tempers erupted again inside the tunnel.
Atleti right-back Sime Vrsaljko can be seen aiming an object at the City players on the other side of a handrail.
Police and other security personnel are seen steaming in as players climb the stairs with another scuffle breaking out as they reach the top of the staircase.
BT Sport commentator Darren Fletcher revealed on air: "The players were leaving the tunnel, Jack Grealish was walking down the tunnel and Stefan Savic caught up with him.
"All of a sudden there was a commotion right at the mouth of the tunnel and that point a lot of other people came running into that area.
"The two players, Savic and Grealish, disappeared from my view and then very quickly four police officers came charging to that area.
"There was quite a commotion down there, I couldn't tell you exactly what happened but it was Stefan Savic involved again."
