Oasis reunion likely as Noel and Liam Gallagher ask for talks

An Oasis reunion seems more likely than ever after Noel Gallagher asked his brother, Liam, to reach out.

During an interview on the France Inter radio station, Noel suggested a comeback for the indie band is just a phone call away. The comments come just a few days after Liam told a Twitter user, "It's happening," after he was quizzed on whether or not, "there was a small percentage of Oasis getting back together."

Speaking to the French media outlet, Noel said: "Something in the papers back in England today. He should get his people to call my people. They know who they are, they know where we are, stop talking on the f****** internet, let's see what you've got to say.

Noel went on to say he was just a phone call away. Good Morning Britain's entertainment expert, Richard Arnold, weighed in on the situation, stating a reunion was likely, but revealed things may still be rocky as he went on to share Liam's response.

Quoting Liam, he said: "Here's how I see it. The little fella, aka potato, has done a lot of damage to Oasis as a band / brand. He's got a lot of making up to do, not just to me but to you the fans, the people that put us where we are today. As you were LG x."

The brothers have been at each other's throats for years following an alleged fight. Though fans have been begging for a reunion since 2009, peace between the two may finally be on the horizon.
