Oasis fans may be crying their hearts out when the band reunites next year, if Liam Gallagher‘s recent solo performance is any indication of what they can expect.
The 52-year-old lead singer performed at a boxing match at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night, his first performance since the band confirmed their upcoming Oasis Live ’25 tour back in August.
Provided they don’t get into another sibling tiff and break up beforehand, the brothers will play six shows at the iconic stadium in July and August 2025.
Liam played a number of hit songs including Supersonic and Rock ‘N’ Roll Star during his pre-fight performance, but fans weren’t impressed by his vocals.
Many fans flocked to X (formerly known as Twitter) to express their disappointment in his performance.
Saturday’s performance aside, the demand to see the Gallagher brothers is undeniable.
So much so, that scalpers have tried to sell tickets for upwards of AUD $40,000, which forced the band to release a statement on the issue.
“We have noticed people attempting to sell tickets on the secondary market since the start of the pre-sale. Please note, tickets can ONLY be resold, at face value, via Ticketmaster and Twickets,” Oasis wrote in a statement on X.
“Tickets sold in breach of the terms and conditions will be canceled by the promoters.”
Despite collectively making up one of the most successful and famous bands to come out of England in the last century, Liam and Noel Gallagher have spent the last decade being more likely to end up in headlines for their endless beef.
Thankfully, the pair have seemingly put their beef aside for the sake of fans (and the absolute mint they’re set to earn from their reunion tour), but it took 15 years to get here.
