David Nyika has always attempted to leave his emotions out of the ring, but admits this time it's different following his fiancee's cancer diagnosis.

The Gatton-based New Zealand Olympic medallist (11-1) will headline a hometown card against China's Wuzhati Nuerlang (17-4-2) on December 13.
