Nvidia share price rose to USD 240.25, up by 1.01 points or 0.42 per cent. Nvidia, the world's most valuable company and a bellwether for the AI trade, ticked up 0.14 per cent, rising closer to a market value of $6 trillion. AI stocks have been a huge force driving the U.S. market to records, including Nvidia’s 28.3 per cent surge so far this year. That's roughly double the broad market’s gain.
Nvidia and Broadcom are relatively insulated from a worsening US data-center power crunch, but any resultant delay in AI deployments can affect makers of memory, optical and other secondary chip components, Morgan Stanley said.
