Nvidia's rise to Artificial Intelligence (AI) chip giant from GPUs manufacturer has been nothing short of meteoric. AI darling and the world's one of the most valuable companies with a market cap of $5.7 trillion has a few perks and conditions for employees so that they can be well paid and maintain work-life balance.
Santa Clara, California, headquartered company's HR director Febe Punsalan has given details of its employee policy. Punsalan said that Nvidia's organizational structure includes minimum layers. Jensen Huang oversees as many as 36 direct reports. Rather than strict chains of command, Nvidia exhorts employees to express their thoughts and one-on-one dialogue.
