Nutribullet just quietly released a new super-powered blender that shreds ingredients in seconds — all under $100

Tom’s Guide’s favorite tech of 2020.

A powerful blender is an essential kitchen tool, whether you're making delicious smoothies to start your morning or preparing sauces and soups. So fans will be glad to hear that Nutribullet has recently launched its most powerful full-sized blender to date.

The Nutribullet Power Core Blender comes with a speedy 1400W motor and a six-point blade that can literally pulverise and shred fresh and frozen ingredients in seconds.

Another great selling point is that it’s an extra-large family blender with a 72-ounce capacity, making big-batch blending for meal prep and family-sized portions a breeze. Best of all, you can get this powerhouse for just under $100, which is great value for money — and will save me a fortune from buying expensive smoothies.

What I like about the new Power Core Blender

If there’s one gripe I have about blenders is when they don't fully mix and shred all of my ingredients, and I often end up with chunks in my fruit smoothies. The new Power Core is equipped with a six-point stainless steel blade that will fully shred and break down the toughest ingredients — such as frozen berries, nuts, ice, and even pulp to maximize the extraction process.

It’s also simple to use with just a touch of a button. It's got three speed settings, a pulse option for quick bursts, and a handy automatic smoothie program to make sure you get that perfect consistency every time. So no more chunky bits!

Although smaller blenders are neat and space-saving, the Power Core's huge XL jug is convenient. That extra 72-ounce capacity is perfect for whipping up a big batch of smoothies ahead of time or when you've got guests over. Plus, if you run a large household or are a fan of batch cooking, this is ideal for food prep tasks.

Typically, you might expect a family-sized, super-powered blender like this to cost a small fortune, but you'd be wrong. The Power Core is just $99 on Amazon and at Nutribullet. Looks like I’ll be upgrading my blender just in time for spring treats.
