The search for Mamta Kafle Bhatt, a dedicated nurse and mother, has gripped the Nepalese community for weeks with no sign of her whereabouts. Her husband, Naresh Bhatt, faces a felony charge of concealing her body, as authorities suspect foul play in her disappearance.
Kafle Bhatt, last seen on July 27 at a medical center in Manassas where she worked, was reported missing after failing to show up for work. Concerns grew when her husband, initially uncooperative, reported her missing three days later, claiming he last saw her on July 31.
