ean Longstaff has told a West Denton restaurant they do 'the best burgers in Newcastle,' after the footballer player has become one of their best customers.
Local lad Sean has really come into his own under Eddie Howe's wing over the last year, with him scoring both goals as Newcastle United sealed their spot in the Carabao Cup final with a 2-1 win over Southampton under the lights at St James' Park at the start of this month.
Chants of 'he's one of our own' rang out around the stands as Sean, bother of Matty, found the net twice in succession and now he and his NUFC teammates have got one eye firmly on next weekend's final at Wembley, when they take on Manchester United, aiming to win their first trophy since 1969.

United has a frustrating time of things at the weekend, when they made the long trip back from Bournemouth with just one point, after a 1-1 draw with Howe's former club, having been held at home by West Ham seven days earlier.
Sean got over any lingering disappointment he had from the game by heading to Raza's for a takeaway. The burger joint at The Burnside in West Denton, with staff snapping him with his bag of food as he headed home.
Sharing a photo of Sean on their Facebook page, they wrote: "Sean longstaff ordering last night. Sean is our regular customer week in week out."
It was then that Raza's made the boast that Sean had told them they do the "best burgers i have had in Newcastle by far," with them adding: 'Great words by the Newcastle footballer.'
