NT authorities have reported the death of a man in his 50s from COVID-19.
In a statement released today, the NT government said the Darwin man, who had underlying health conditions, had died at Royal Darwin Hospital.
The man died on February 21. NT Health said his death was "verified" as a COVID-related death on Friday.
There have now been 20 COVID-related deaths in the NT since the start of the pandemic.
Authorities said there were now 101 people in Territory hospitals with COVID-19, a slight decline on the 103 in hospital on Thursday.
Of those in hospital, 19 require oxygen and seven are in ICU.
The statement also said there were 755 new COVID-19 cases reported in the 24 hours up to 8pm on Thursday, including 681 diagnosed from rapid antigen tests.
Of the new cases, 426 were recorded in the Top End, 185 in Central Australia, 23 in East Arnhem, 46 in Big Rivers and 36 in the Barky.
Some 39 cases are still under investigation.
There are currently 4,965 active cases in the NT.
A NT-wide indoor mask mandate and a vaccine passport system are still in place across the Territory.
