The number of COVID-19 patients in Northern Territory hospitals has dropped to 61, down from 63 yesterday, as the Territory recorded 212 new cases overnight.
Nine patients are requiring oxygen and two are in intensive care, NT Chief Minister Michael Gunner said in a media statement.
A seven-day lockdown is in place for Gunyangara (Ski Beach), Utopia in Central Australia and Wurrumiyanga on the Tiwi Islands.
The lockdowns are due to lift on Saturday.
Lockouts in Alice Springs and the remote communities of Amoonguna, Yuendumu, and Yuelamu are due to end on Sunday.
A lockdown in Galiwin'ku in East Arnhem Land is due to end on Monday.
The total number of active cases in the NT is 3,938.
Of the new cases recorded overnight, 23 were detected in Galiwin'ku, three at Darwin Correctional Centre, 16 at the Batten Road accommodation centre in Marrara and 10 in Yuendumu.
