The number of COVID-19 patients in Northern Territory hospitals is now 156, down from 164 on Monday.
There are 22 patients who are requiring oxygen and one is in intensive care.
The Northern Territory government announced 1,086 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday.
Of those, 975 cases were detected by rapid antigen tests (RATs).
Across the Territory, 623 cases were recorded in the Top End, 190 in Central Australia, 72 in East Arnhem, 69 in Big Rivers and 48 in the Barkly. Eighty-four are still under investigation.
The number of active COVID-19 cases in the NT now stands at 7,233
An indoor mask mandate is still in place across the NT, but authorities are also encouraging people to wear masks outdoors when they cannot maintain a 1.5m distance from others.
