Novak Djokovic not to play in Madrid Open

NEW DELHI: World number one Novak Djokovic was left out of the ATP Masters 1000 main draw on Monday, hence he will not be competing at this week's Madrid Open.

According to reports on Saturday, the Serbian will forego the competition and focus instead on getting ready for the French Open in Paris next month at the Italian Open in Rome.
