NEW DELHI: Novak Djokovic marked his return to the ATP-WTA Indian Wells Masters after a five-year hiatus with a hard-fought victory over Aleksandar Vukic. The world number one Serbian battled through a three-set thriller, defeating Vukic 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 on Saturday.
Having last played in January, where he suffered a semi-final defeat at the Australian Open, Djokovic showcased his prowess once again at the desert venue, aiming for his sixth title at the season's first Masters event.
