Novak Djokovic keeps perfect China Open record in first match since disastrous US Open

  • The Serbian superstar said he was “very happy” with the win despite admitting he “struggled a little bit to stay fresh”.
  • Djokovic was playing first match since he crashed out of the US Open in the first round following a five-set defeat by Mariano Navone.
  • The 39-year-old has won 24 grand slam titles in his career, but has failed to add to his tally in the last three years.
