Novak Djokovic was moved to tears as he crashed out of the US Open in a physically punishing first-round defeat to Argentinean Mariano Navone.

Djokovic, 39, vomited on court numerous times throughout the match and battled cramp, back and shoulder issues, and the humidity in New York.
