Luke Williams has named Jim O'Brien in his side to face Scunthorpe this afternoon as the midfielder returns to first-team action for the first time since October.
The Magpies boss makes two changes to the side that drew with Yeovil two weeks ago, with Quevin Castro coming in for just his third league start of the season.
Both Sam Austin and Cedwyn Scott drop to the bench, with Ed Francis retaining his place in the matchday squad following Connell Rawlinson's training injury last week.

There is still no Aaron Nemane available to the Magpies boss, with Williams hinting at the full-back needing a break after a hectic start to the National League system.
The back three remains the same with Rawlinson's absence, while Matty Palmer continues in midfield alongside the returning O'Brien, with Ruben Rodrigues and Quevin Castro just ahead of them.
A goal for Macaulay Langstaff today will see him equal Kyle Wootton and Rodrigues' totals for the entirety of last season and he has a good chance against a side that have lost their last five matches in a row.
Notts starting line-up: Slocombe; Cameron, Baldwin, Brindley, Chicksen, Adebayo-Rowling; Palmer, O'Brien; Rodrigues, Castro, Langstaff.
SUBS: Bajrami, Francis, Austin, Mitchell, Scott.
