Notts County boss pinpoints Chesterfield interaction as key in Barnet preparations

With the added cameras provided by BT Sport's coverage of Notts County's fixture with Chesterfield, one moment was captured at the half-time interval that Luke Williams intends to use ahead of their encounter with Barnet at Meadow Lane on Tuesday night.

While Cedwyn Scott's altercation with Armando Dobra may have been the focus, footage inside the tunnel at the Technique Stadium captured the togetherness and unity within this Magpies squad that has been created under Williams' guidance.

Three players not involved in the 2-1 win over Paul Cook's side, Ruben Rodrigues, Tobi Adebayo-Rowling, and Archie Mair were seen providing words of encouragement to their team-mates following Dobra's late equaliser deep into first-half stoppage time.

And ahead of another important test of their title credentials on Tuesday, the Magpies boss explained that he will show all of his squad that clip to further emphasise the importance of team spirit this season.

"The players actually when I finish here will sit in our meeting ahead of Barnet after training this morning and this afternoon we will look at the debrief from the Chesterfield game because there are a few things we need to learn both good and bad.

"And this clip will be in there of the tunnel camera because there is nothing premeditated and not for show - this is the guys and this is how they are.

"When you have that inside the camp, it's powerful and it's difficult to build and it has to be watered down and you have to try and maintain that spirit and it's about the people putting themselves about in training and then coming to the game.

"They ask me please can we travel with the team, please can we be there in the hotel to have the pre-match and can we please be at the stadium for the game, they ask me and they all want to be there - there is no sulking like babies because they all want to be there.

"They are all important and they know that and that just showed it so brilliantly, it was so genuine and I love that."
