Parents are preparing for the school run once again as the summer holidays end and the next academic year begins. It can be difficult to keep track of all the breaks and half terms once your child reaches school age, but to help plan ahead we have found the dates for schools in and around Nottingham for this academic year and next year.
Dates between schools do vary depending on your location, and some Catholic, Church of England and Hebrew schools may also have differing dates. Parents have also been reminded that by law schools have to take five teacher training days each year. These dates will vary from school to school and can affect when terms start and end.
You should be able to find your child’s school term, half term and holiday dates on your local council’s website. Here are the term and half-term dates listed on the Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire County Council websites.
