Nottinghamshire property closed after 'zombie knives' and drugs found following 'numerous' reports

A property has been closed in a Nottinghamshire town following "numerous reports" about drug dealing and related criminality at the address. The house in Warnadene Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield, has been shut by the council and police.

Nottinghamshire Police and Ashfield District Council say they have taken action after a long line of incidents and complaints relating to the address. Over the last 12 months, officers said they have received reports about drug dealing and related criminality at the property.

Following numerous inspections of the property, ‘zombie knives’, Class A and Class B drugs, and drug paraphernalia were found. A closure order was granted by Mansfield Magistrates’ Court on Friday, December 16.
