A Gedling man is furious as he says Porsche is refusing to honour a warranty claim on a car he paid £34,000 for as one of the doors is rusting. Martin Connelly, 46, bought his Porsche Panamera from a third party in Stoke in January.
In the first week of owning it, Martin, who is an installation manager for a security company, washed his car and noticed what he describes as 'bubbles' on the right-hand door. Martin has a personalised number plate on his car and it was registered on the road in 2015.
He contacted the German manufacturer who booked in an appointment with a body shop in Derby to inspect the car. Staff there told Martin he wouldn't be able to get it fixed under warranty as it looked like a chip caused by a stone, which Martin refutes.
