Police issued a statement after officers cordoned off a street in the city centre. Emergency services were called to a street just off High Pavement, in Lace Market, over concerns for a man's safety.
Officers arrived at around 4.20pm on Tuesday (May 10). A police cordon was set up on St Peter's Gate following concerns.
The cordon was located between the White Company store and St Mary's Church. Photos from the scene show the fire and rescue service in attendance too.
