Nottinghamshire Police called to residential street after sudden death of man

Police have been called to a residential street in a Nottinghamshire village after the sudden death of a man. Nottinghamshire Police attended High View Avenue in Keyworth at around 9am on Wednesday, June 28 after receiving reports of the death.

The force said officers are currently treating the death as unexplained and that they are carrying out an investigation. People living in the area reported seeing police, ambulances and paramedic cars at the scene on Wednesday.

Inspector Rob Lawton, neighbourhood policing inspector for Rushcliffe, said: “Officers were called to High View Avenue, Keyworth, at around 9am yesterday (28 June) after receiving reports of a man’s sudden death. We are currently treating his death as unexplained and are carrying out further inquiries to fully establish what happened.”
