Nottinghamshire man with Parkinson's can 'hold wife's hand again' after getting a new eye device

A Nottinghamshire man is able to hold his wife's hand again after wearing a new eye device. Derrick Walker, 73, has Parkinson's and was unable to do many activities he previously enjoyed.

Mr Walker had been suffering from Parkinson's for 15 years and has found relief with a new device. The aid lines up the eye's visual field with no batteries, wires or plugs.

Lincolnshire Live reports the device was created by Sandra McDonough, 60, from Spalding in Lincolnshire. It came after she found having a knitting marker on her glasses improved her own Parkinson's symptoms.
