Nottinghamshire construction firm Willmott Dixon voted best place to work in UK

A Nottingham-based company has been judged to be one of the best to work for in the UK. Nottingham-based construction firm Willmott Dixon won first in the Big Company category of the Best Companies Awards, which recognises the UK’s top workplaces from all sectors.

The win was awarded based on responses from Willmott Dixon staff to an online survey of questions sent out by Best Companies, along with information supplied about company culture, ethos, policies and initiatives that engage staff. It has more than 300 people working in its Nottingham and Birmingham offices.

The firm has worked on developments such as Nottingham Custody Suite and ongoing projects like the new Bingham Arena and Enterprise Centre. Staff are also working on the Broadmarsh centre demolition.
