A shop worker came to the aid of a teenager who was stabbed outside an off-license in Nottingham. The 17-year-old was reportedly stabbed in Oakdale Road in Bakersfield at around 6pm on Monday, April 12, police said.
The teen, whose injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, had been to the Kurd Off License store before he was allegedly attacked by two males after they had also been in the shop, according to its owner. Sardar Latif was not in the shop at the time but told Nottinghamshire Live that a shop assistant helped the victim.
"He'd just purchased something from the shop and must have had problems with them. He'd been stabbed with a knife and came back here to get help from the shop," he said. "My colleague got him some tissues. He'd been stabbed in the hip but was still standing when the ambulance arrived. I don't think they tried to kill him but they tried to hurt him."
