A Nottingham sandwich shop has been cleared out and appears to have closed after opening during the summer of 2020. Easy Bite, opened in a prime location, at Beastmarket Hill, close to Old Market Square and right next to a row of bus stops.
It sold breakfasts, freshly made baguettes, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, chicken strips and salads and was the third to open after sites in Birmingham and Leeds. Originally customers gave five star reviews, praising it for being cheap and cheerful.
But in the last few months, there have been complaints. One person gave it just one star adding: "The prices are ridiculous and a very long wait each time. For three chicken strips I paid £3.50 they were salty and not very good, they were small. For £3.50 I expected them to be somewhat big. Do not recommend!"

Another said: "Used to be my favourite place to come and eat after college, to get the 5 strips meal, a can and chips for £3.50 so worth it considering the low budget being a uni student. You have since removed this and upped prices ridiculously."
The shop has recently been cleared out and appears to have closed, although there has been no announcement in the shop window, nor on Easy Bite's social media sites. Easy Bite has been contacted for comment.
