Sometimes there is nothing better than ordering a takeaway to enjoy delicious, top quality food from your favourite restaurant or takeaway and eating it from the comfort of your own home without the hassle of going out or washing up. Online food delivery company Just Eat has analysed more than 10 million reviews across the UK, and has found Nottingham city's favourite cuisine is Chinese.
According to the new data, Chinese food in Nottingham has a popularity score of 85.35 percent out of 100, which is 8 percent more popular than Japanese, which comes in second. In terms of dishes, sweet and sour is the most popular, with a perfect score of 100, with the Indian curry and chicken tikka coming joint second (98.60).
East Midlands' favourite cuisine is also Chinese (score of 62.01), but England's as a whole is Italian (60.54), with fast food in second (59.16) and Indian in third (58.78). Chinese does not even make the nation's top 5.
