Nottingham PR firm Cartwright Communications gives staff £1,000 pay rise to meet growing cost of living

A Nottingham PR firm has given each of its workers a £1,000 pay rise to help meet the rising cost of living.

Management at Cartwright Communications said the move was one of a number of measures they had taken to support and reward the team which had helped it receive a Great Places to Work accreditation and be named a finalist for the Inspiring Workplaces EMEA awards alongside the BBC, Bupa and Places for People.

In addition to the pay rise for its 30-plus staff, the agency – which is based at 4 St Mary’s Place, Nottingham with a second office in Birmingham – offers private healthcare and access to professional counselling support, enhanced maternity and paternity packages and 26 days’ holiday allowance for all staff.
