The lorry driver said he would use the money to go on holiday to Thailand and marry his girlfriend Mon. He said: “I’ve been saving up for a while
"She lives out there at the moment but once we get married and have been on our honeymoon, she’ll move to the UK so we can live together.”
Craig never expected to win the prize after paying £1.20 for his lucky ticket. He added: "I thought I was just coming to my parents for a pork chop tea, so to win a top-of-the-range Mercedes with cash in the boot is just unbelievable. I’m totally shocked!
“I’ve driven tens of thousands of miles in my career and I can’t wait to drive some more in this." BOTB gives out car prizes every week as well as the lifestyle prize.
Christian, who surprises the BOTB winners each week, said: “It sounds like the win for Craig has come at just the right time ahead of his holiday to Thailand. Massive congratulations on his upcoming wedding from all of us at BOTB!”
