Bosses at Nottingham's hospitals have issued an urgent warning due to 'significant pressure' on its services. Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH), which runs Queen's Medical Centre and City Hospital, said it was "facing high demand".
In a joint message from its leaders, including acting chief executive Rupert Egginton and chief nurse Michelle Rhodes, the NHS trust urged people to use the most appropriate services.
"We are under significant pressure and need your help to ensure we can focus on looking after the most poorly patients," reads the statement, distributed across its social media pages.
