Tottenham Hotspur kick-off their EFL Cup campaign with a trip to the City Ground as they look to secure their first trophy since 2008 - which was in this competition. The Premier League sides now join the domestic competition and Antonio Conte may fancy his chances in lifting his first Carabao Cup.

Spurs are the favourites at evens with Betfred ahead of their Carabao Cup trip while Forest are 11/4 and a draw is 13/5. The north London club have reached the competition's semi-finals on at least three occasions in the last four years and reached the final in 2021.

Antonio Conte has picked up the Premier League and the FA Cup in his managerial career while at Chelsea but he may well be keen to test the waters and look to win this trophy in February but with Champions League football and the FA Cup yet to begin, his priorities might be elsewhere.
