Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to continue their fine form and close the gap on arch rivals Arsenal to just two points as they prepare for their trip to City Ground to face a Nottingham Forest side who have surprised a few people already this season.
Spurs are the favourites going into this match at 1/2 with Betfred while Forest are 6/1 longshots at home and a draw is 18/5. Forest do have a good run against Spurs in the Premier League winning six of their last nine meetings with the north London club in the top-tier but they have not met in the competition since 1999.
Antonio Conte's side have been solid this season already and clearly showing signs of mental strength when things have not gone so smoothly on the pitch. A solid win against Southampton started the season the right way before a dramatic 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge showed fantastic mental strength and finish thanks to Harry Kane's late equaliser with the England captain setting the tempo against Wolves seven days later.
Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest have certainly done well in their first season in the top flight in 23 years. Steve Cooper had a tough task on his hands just after promotion but the realisation of having the invest in a completely new squad - 17 signings and counting - means an even tougher job of having to gel this side in quickly to compete in the Premier League. So far, it has work - to a degree.
They struggled against Newcastle United on the opening weekend of the season but managed to get a win at home against West Ham United despite the Irons dominating the majority of the match and getting a draw at Goodison Park. The positive results will be huge for Cooper's side but the warning signs are there and need to be addressed as soon as possible or they will face a tough battle to survive.

Harry Kane has been as reliant as ever and the curse behind the month of August seems well and truly broken with his all important goals. His contributions have benefited Spurs with four points already this season including an equaliser at Chelsea and the winner against Wolves last weekend. Now, he will be keen to make sure his goalscoring form continues especially with Man City away just two weeks away.
